Thoughts and Props

Have you ever read North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell? It's a rather interesting novel, if you haven't read it before you should. It's a rather easy 19th Century British novel and is enjoyable to read. I bring this up because I'm reading it for another class and because in the text there is a debate between the workers and the masters in the manufacturing town of Milton. It reminded me of coffee manufacturing and growing. While this blog is primarily designed to discuss the creative project for a science class, there is a short research paper that I have to complete. Perhaps I will do my research on coffee? Free-trade coffee? We shall see. At any rate. Are there any suggestions for the actual Food Project? I was thinking a pie or something but that seemed too simplistic.
