I once again find myself on another journey of discovery and newness. As a senior undergraduate and beginning my final semester of life as I know it, I had some extra credit hours to fill. The Honors Program is currently offering a new biology course: Food and Science. I decided that I would do what most students wouldn't do if they didn't have to: take an extra science course just for the fun of it. Beyond labs, reading assignments, and a paper, we have to do a food project. This project involves us making a food item, researching it, sharing it in class, and keeping a blog along the way. Food, Fun, and Friends. The three ingredients to a good time, every time. Join me on this journey toward finding exciting, taste bud tantalizing food. As this project develops and as graduation gets ever closer, I hope we can all find a little solace in the consistency of a good meal, the fun one has in creating and enjoying food, and the friends we may find along the way.
